It is half term for the schools and so we are closing the office doors for one week and taking annual leave to care for our children.
We will be back November 2nd 2020.
Although the office is closed, some of our team will continue working from home using the new digital platform that we put in place back in March; managing payroll and HMRC filings etc. A majority of our clients are Xero users which is also cloud based, and so there will be no interruption of service for them.
Some staff are taking this opportunity to use up their annual leave this week and having some well deserved time off with their families this half term.
No doubt they are happily getting into the autumn festivities ready for all hollows eve.
One thing we have certainly embraced during 2020 is that we work to live, not live to work, as we were doing. Taking those precious moments with family and loved ones where we can, and embracing the wonderful if not weird world of virtual family meetings aka Zoom, which are often more like a modern séance.
