Exporting goods from the UK to the EU in a no deal EU Exit

In the ever changing political climate following the public vote to leave the EU and despite businesses scrambling again to get their businesses ready for leaving the EU under a no deal exit for the 31st October 2019, we are no closer to knowing when this current saga will in fact actually end.

Changing the goal post/end date again, is causing huge strain with financially and emotionally for business owners who carry out trade with the EU, whether that is though direct sales of goods or transportation and delivery services.

The political parties are all at fault as this matter should really have been decided ideally 6 months before an exit date, so that a settling period with preparation and implementation could be carried out by business’ in both the UK and the EU. The political storm that has dragged the UK further into uncertain waters will undoubtably continue well into the new year.

Just like out clients, we are keeping a close ear and eye on the evolving nature of the Brexit Beast and will update this page regularly with any new guidance that comes out from Parliament.
